Artist Abodes is a boutique short-term rental company based in Fitzroy, Melbourne, founded by Hugo in October 2022. We run around 16 styled homes across Fitzroy, Collingwood and Brunswick, consistently rated 4.9 to 5 stars by guests, and we manage short-term rentals for property owners across Melbourne’s inner north.
Hugo started Artist Abodes after a career in management consulting, with a simple aim: short stays that feel like a well-designed home, run by people who live around the corner. Four years on, we are still a small, local team, and every home is still looked after closely by us.
The “Artist” in our name comes from our first two homes, which were filled with work by up-and-coming Melbourne artists. The idea was simple: give young local artists a place to be seen, and give guests a stay that felt more like a gallery than a hotel.
That gallery feel still shapes every property we style today: considered design, character and the small details that make guests feel at home in Melbourne’s most creative suburbs.
Whether you are staying with us or looking for someone to manage your property, here is what you can expect.
Design-led apartments and townhouses in Fitzroy, Collingwood and Brunswick. Book direct on our website for our best rates.
